Introduction

In this project I explored two different comic strip creator applications. I created a comparison chart to compare the two. After comparing the two I chose to create my comic strip using Comic Life. I chose Comic Life because I drew the pictures for my comic. Comic Life is the only application that would allow me to upload my drawings. Comic was simple to use. Comic Life was point, click and drag. Once I got the hang of it the process of creating the comic strip moved smoothly. I created an instructional activity to go along with the comic strip. The instructional activity, created for kindergarten students, is creating a story web/map to name the characters, setting, problem, author, and illustrator of the story.

Project Description

In this project I compared two comic creator applications. I choose to compare the application Comic Life and Pixton. I chose to use Comic Life to create my six comic strips. I wrote a story and created an instructional activity to go along with the comic strips.

Reflection

I learned from this assignment that I can be creative. I have many doubts sometimes about my creativity, but this assignment proved me wrong. I really enjoyed completing this project. I learned how to use Comic Life, which is a new application for me. Before this project I did not know it existed. My recommendation to others is to learn as much as you can when using these applications. I would also say that you should start early and take your time to do the project.
